A committee of British parliamentarians has issued a warning that the nation’s asylum structure is not only overloaded but also under persistent pressure. The concerned body, i.e., Home Affairs Committee, examines the work of the Home Office even as the latter recruits immigration workers in the country. It has alleged that the system is crippled with appalling delays. The committee has also claimed that several professionals have lost their expertise as they were denied the right to a do a job for as many as 8 years.
